I use Premiere to edit my footage shot in DV Pal. Then I export it using procoder to mpeg2 and author it on DVD. But here is problem, exported, encoded movie is a bit darker when i watch it on CRT TV.

I tried encoding same footage in Nero Vision and i think it was closer to original footage then one from procoder.

What’s the cause of this? Is there any filter i can use or do i set something wrong in procoder?

    to summarize:

Footage shot in DV Pal -> edited with Premiere -> encoded with Procoder -> good quality but a lot darker then original footage

Footage shot in DV Pal -> edited with Premiere -> encoded with Nero Vision -> poor quality but same brightness as original footage
