  Encoding MXF – Problem with filename changes

  I need to encode some files from a Panasonic varicam into Appleprores for an offline edition. I have this problem: when I import the MXF files (for example A011/CONTENTS/AVCLIP/A010_C001_150910_C501_S_899QN3KK.MXF) the Encoder imports it with a different name: it only takes the random final part of the filename, so it shows as: 899QN3KK.MXF.
  This will be a problem when later I’ll try to reconnect the sequence to the original files.
  Does anyone know why is this happening? And most specifically, if there’s a way to avoid that?
