Encoding in Premiere with BMD Project
Hi,
This is a longshot, but I thought I’d check with anyone…..
I’m using a declink extreme, and I have big problem encoding to MPEG2 in Premiere 2.0. It just looks really soft. Most of my stuff is going to DVD these days, so this is a big problem. It probably has nothing to do with the Decklink, but that’s the only variable in the project that adobe will point too? Is anyone using the media encoder with field rendered material, and getting clean results? I’ve done a test using the exact same settings in Sonic Solutions, Autodesk Cleaner, and Premiere, and Premiere isn’t even close to the other 2 (in Version 1.0, I got results equalling the other two and the only change has been a swithc to the decklink since version 1?). Interestingly enough, when I encode the same material in encore direct, the encode is very clean, but strobed motion. I just wanted to post this here, to see if someone might have a similar situation. Thanks,
Mike
