Hi! I am wanting to encode some HD Footage for download on my site for my users to edit with. Someone reccomended Photo JPEG as a good codec for minimal loss and decent compression. However, using Canopus Procoder, I don’t see a quicktime option under HD. It just has MPEG, Windows Media and DIVX.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

You can get QuickTime in ProCoder by picking the System group – it’s in there.

That said, Photo JPEG is HUGE for the quality you get. What tools are you targeting? Many NLE systems now support WMV files, which can look great at a much smaller size.
