  Encoding for Vimeo – Recent uploads very poor quality …

  Hi,

  I am having a few issues encoding SD 1024×576 25 fps Quicktime movies for upload to Vimeo. I’ve followed the compression guidelines (https://vimeo.com/help/compression) to the letter, but the resulting uploads are of a terrible quality – heavily artifacted, very low in quality and unacceptable for use.

  I’ve raised the issue on the Vimeo Forums but have not received a satisfactory response from any of their staff – the thread is here – https://vimeo.com/forums/help/topic:88220

  Has anyone else experienced similar issues recently and if so what has been your solution?
