Encoding error burning dvd
New user with a deadline of course. I am trying to burn a DVD and I get an encoder error message just after starting. anything I can do besides redoing the project?

You could do a few things. First make sure that no other apps are running at XP start-up.
Go start > run and type MSCONFIG. Under the start-up tab uncheck EVERYTHING, reboot, and try burning out of Premiere again.
If that fails, you could try changing the burn settings to: ISO. If the error doesn’t come up, you can download a tiny program called ISO recorder. https://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/v2.htm
It allows you to drag the ISO file (DVD image) directly to your DVD burner.
If all fails. You can either try an uninstall, or you could use the Adobe Media encoder export (No titles or menus), choose Mpeg2-DVD, and use your DVD software to burn, or you could use this: https://www.brothersoft.com/dvd_video/misc_multimedia/video_dvd_maker_free_43531.html

Or choose the “Folder” option and export the VIDEO_TS folder to your hard drive and then burn with an burning software. I have seen many issues with DVD burning from Pro and Premiere Elements, but not with Encore.
