    Hey all! I’m editing a video with many clips, transitions, and other effects. It’s about 4 hours long total.

    Is there a way with Premiere (or Media Encoder) to split the export into 30 minute parts as it’s encoding? I’d much rather have part1, part2, etc than a 4 hour video. 🙂

    Not that I’m certainly aware of. I think you’ll have to restart the encoding process. But you can start uploading Part 1 to YouTube as soon as it’s done (while the rest is still encoding) and will still probably save a lot of time.

    or…split your edit into 4 parts through 4 sequences.

    I dont know anyone that would sit thru a 4 hour video no matter what it was about.! Just saying. Ha.
