    Hello,

I’ve been working on a DVD for a couple of months now. Since I have a fairly packed DVD, it’s been a tough time trying to have everything fit. Recently after having an issue with the feature film, I re-encoded the film from it’s native format into Mpeg-2. The film wound up being a little larger than I wanted it to be so I re-encoded that mpeg-2 into an even smaller file. Now that it fits on the DVD, am I losing anymore quality by encoding from mpeg-2 to mpeg-2 rather that re-encoding from the original .mov file?
