encoded mpeg2 stutters when played – any thoughts
Encoding timeline mix of video, audio, and pictures using Premiere Pro 2.0’s adobe media encoder with following settings:
mpeg2; preset 1080 24p 15 MBps VBR.Resulting encoded video stutters and is slowed when played back using various players (windows media player 11, intervideo winDVD 5). I am wondering if anyone knows why. Possibly I need a different codec or maybe I have a glitch?
I am attempting to use this setting because it produces the highest quality playback as compared to mpeg2-DVD, SVCD, or other mpeg2 settings such as NTSC generic. I would be open to using other encoding settings if I can get similar quality and I cant fix my problem.
Thanks for any thoughts
