  • Encode to flv from Vegas Pro – pls help

    Hi everybody,

I have a project in Vegas Pro 9.0 which I rendered as MPEG-2, 1440×1080, 16:9, Widescreen PAL (Thanks to Mike Kujbida for helping me with this). The MPEG-2 file weighs 6 GB. The original material was filmed with a Sony professional camera in MP4 format.

I need to convert it to flv, 480×270, 16:9, 25 fps, and cannot exceed 700 MB.
I’ve been pulling my hair out with this for a week, and couldn’t produce such an FLV. I’ve been using erightsoft’s Super to encode.

Any ideas, pls help, I have a deadline for this, your help will be much appreciated

    Ernesto

Would the RIVA FLV encoder help with that? I doubt it could take that big mpeg2, but you could render out a standard definition avi or try the frameserver posted yesterday to send the job to the RIVA encoder.
