May 27, 2006 at 6:30 pmThey moved the location of “RT Enabler” with the release of 5.1. It’s still in the Contents of the “Final Cut Pro.app” somewhere and the hack does still work. I forget where it’s exact location is. Use Spotlight to seach the Contents folder to find it.

May 30, 2006 at 6:51 amTrust me, it’s there. You have to tell Spotlight to specifically search within the “Final Cut Pro.app/Contents” folder. Simply using the Magnifying Glass in the top right of the screen will not search within application files (which is where this is).
Open up the FCP/Contents folder in a Finder window. Then use the search box in that specific Finder window. Now you’ll see the advanced Spotlight options. Make sure to choose the “Contents” folder as your search area.

May 30, 2006 at 10:52 pmOH I found it (sorry I didn’t get back to ya)
did the editafter a couple of clips I was running into no end of trouble
long frames where EVERYWHERE over 1050 1.25 frames 600 2.5’s and 6 3.75’s (plus it would take forever to capture as it would start to capture then go back and start again)anyway
now using DVCPRO HD compressor (doesn’t look as good but there are no long frames at least)Thanks anyway man
