enable openGL, not active

i’ve problem with the perview in after effect cs3.
i can’t enable openGL, i’ve Geforce Ultra 6800 265 RAM and it’s supported for openGL.
i used it with AE 7.can anyone tell me where can i find the my prefs file.

October 1, 2007 at 9:01 pmpreferences>previews… there should be a check box to enable opengl, and you can then select to accelerate effects using opengl.
in addition you can set the preview window to use opengl interactive previews or always on by clicking the little lightning bolt icon under the preview window (i would recommend interactive…)

i got the problem, need to update my driver.but i need to know where can i find the prefernce file.
i’ve error with Nucleo, asking for the pref file.can you help me.

October 2, 2007 at 2:11 pmi’m on a mac, but my pref is in users/[username]/library/peferences/adobe/after effects/[version]/
the name of the file is ‘Adobe After Effects 8.0 Prefs’
i hope that helps…
also, opengl preview rendering and nucleo preview rendering may not be compatible… that is you can use one or the other but not both. i know with cs3, multiprocessing cannot be used for previews if opengl is set to always on…
