  • Enable “Effect Control Point” when applying motion tracks

    Hi

I’ve done a motion tracking on a video and I want to apply this to a control point for an effect I have made on another layer, but the choice “Effect Control Point” under “Edit Target” is greyed out. I can’t figure out how to enable this. Can anyone enlighten me please?

    Regards

    Hi Dave

Thanks for your reply, and sorry for my late reply, I’m sick at the moment (flu).

I’ve tested using a null object but because I’m using three motion tracks on one footage, the object I’m tracking is moving out of the screen, I runned into some problems. As soon as I’m well again I will give the null object method another try.

I still wonder how I can activate the “Effect Control Point” option. Seems to be more simple … ?
