Emulating slow shutter motion blur ?
Hi there, I’m working on a student project in which there’s some shots that have been shoted with a shutter speed of 1/12. Of course, there’s lots of motion blur in it, be that’s what the director wanted. But of course, there is two shots that are needed where the DP forgot to put the slow shutter. That’s where I come to the rescue… but then, I really don’t know how to rescue them on this one…
How do I emulate the slow shutter bluriness in after effects ? I know there’s some plug-ins that could do the trick, but we’re on a tight budget ($0 to be precise) so we really cannot afford buying anything…
Any idea ?

Try the effects under the “time” sub-menu, such as Echo or CC Wide Time if you have 6.5.

Effect>time>echo might do it for you if you tweak it right.
