I’ve also played Metal Slug long time ago but right now I can not view any streamed video due to non-broadband connection. I crop the fireball from the screen shot in PS and import them into PI3.

thanks Diony. i can’t seem to download your link. i right click and use “save as” but the .zip file is corrupted.
is this a pi screen shot or one from the game? i’m really interested in trying to get pi to generate the explosions.
i figure it’s got something to do with the particle shape but so far my experiments have failed.
