Well this is a strange start with DaVinci Resolve:

After installing version 11 light to my Windows 10 computer and starting as admin with the default project, the gallery with some presets to quickly starting color grading is empty.

What must be done to get that preset? Downloading any other packages?

EDIT: I should add that I downloaded an other power grade and imported it, but it does nothing. I drag it to the first node in Resolve, but nothing about the image changes even though a bunch of new nodes are added in the node chain.

You’re looking at the project gallery. It’s empty if you haven’t saved anything there. I don’t have 11 installed but you can browse the preset gallery by choosing Gallery from the Workspace menu in 12.

The first level of Gallery stills are the MEMORY stills. Page 772 in the Resolve 12 manual. I think Memory grades were a big deal with the original daVinci 888 and 2K, but I think people work many different ways today.
