I have a null in the center of a comp. I have the null rotating in 3d space. Then I parented another null (3d layer) to the rotating layer, so that it orbits the other null.

I want to use the position of the orbiting null to drive the emitter position of an CC particle world.

Is this possible and how would I do it?

    Thank you!

CC Particle Systems is a simulated 3D effect, which means it doesn’t actually use true 3D Z space.
CC Particle World gives you Z space co-ordinates so you will need to use that one.

Here’s a link that’ll explain the expression method more clearly than I can right now.
