EMERGENCY Copyright symbol
Posted by Xxmontyxx on March 20, 2007 at 10:07 pmWhy can’t I copy and paste into AE7 from the Character Map on Windows XP? Is there another way to create a copyright symbol? Unicode Alt+0169 doesn’t work either.

March 20, 2007 at 10:39 pmJust create one in Photoshop or other app. Place it in the comp on its own layer.

March 21, 2007 at 12:43 amThis doesn’t work in any font and I know my font has a copyright symbol in it as I can see it in Windows Character Map. Guess I will have to create one…. bummer.
thanks for all your help.

March 21, 2007 at 12:51 amTry this:
– leave NumLock on
– hold down alt when typing *all* the 0169 keys, using the *numeric* keypad.
– the symbol should appear when you release the alt key.I just did it on a laptop, adding the Fn key to the mix. 😀
