Emboss text on white background
I would like to get the effect of letters embossed on white paper.
I see presets for this in After Effects, but I would like to work in RED.

Simple effect but I can’t seem to get it looking right in RED.

Hi,
I can help you with that.
• create the title with the text tool
• duplicate the video track over which you want to place the text and place this on top
• twirl down the duplicated text to reveal the mask track
• drag the title onto the mask track
• position the title as desired
• click on the main track level of the duplicated video track
• click on the shadow tab
