embedding video fx into the rendered file
Hi all, I hope someone can help!
By accident I found that chroma keyer makes a lovely red in my video. And it looks fine as long as there is no track underneath it:
But with a track behind it, it doesn’t look so nice:
I need a b/w track underneath so I can have the b/w dissove into the coloured one.
(I think) I understand chroma is used for green screen so it is transparent. My question is: is it possible to render it in a format so that it just “forgets” it is supposed to be a transparent chroma keyer? Like in Photoshop you would flatten the Layers & just save an image that doesn’t know what it is made of. I’ve tried rendering just the single track with chroma keyer but it never seems to “forget” that it has a chroma keyer in it & so always becomes transparent to the track beneath.

Aha, so now when I render, everything is fine (as I expected it to be, but for some reason it wasn’t working yesterday). So the problem is solved but I can’t delete this post!
