    Hi @ all,

I got the decklink extreme 3D hd and have to digitize about 80 hdcam sr.
I thought about just using the SDI Port including the Embedded Audio.
    But theres a Problem:
I have to Route the 5.1 Tracks in my QuickTime to channels 1-6 and the Stereo Mix to 7/8 but my Tape has a different configuration(Channel 1/2 Stereo and 3-8 5.1 Surround).
Is there a Option to Route the Embedded Audio on Other channels or so i need a aes/ebu Card like the rme hdspe and route the Tracks separate via patchbay?
For capturing i use fcp 7 or blackmagic’s Media express.

    Thanks and best,
    Klaas

I’m not sure you can do the re-routing while capture, unless there’s some option in the VTR itself.

Else, the other option is to capture as is. Then place the captured clip in an FCP timeline. Set the sequence settings for 8 tracks all dual mono. Then rearrange the tracks the way you need to. Assign each track’s output where you need it to go. And export the sequence self-contained. Now the tracks will occupy the places you need them to.

Alternately, in QT player 7 there may be a way to arrange the tracks in Movie properties. Maybe.
