Embarrassed to ask but..this is driving me nutz
Cutting footage, multiple audio sources, unlinked vid/audio so I can pick individual audio tracks etc. So moving right along – I’ve got my content with sound and now I have 100 broll shots on the timeline and now they are all unlinked audio wise – I want them linked back up so I can easily delete whats not needed (broll wise) and avoiding having to select the vid and aud tracks then delete which is time consuming. I’ve “selected all” clicked the “link” icon in the header tray, “command L” only works to unlink a whole timeline – I’m embarrassed to ask but what’s the shortcut to select all clips (source footage previously linked aud and vid) and relinking the tracks. Again widget in the tray – no dice, ” Command L” only unlinks..

You can only re-link one clip at a time, as far as I’m aware.

I say that but I do inherit client projects with the same issues.
I spend more time teaching them how to set up a project so that (hoping) next time it doesn’t come back to me.
Not sure if that’s always a good thing but some have….sadly.
Pretty well all manual labor at this point.
And why can’t you just segregate what you need and delete the junk audio by removing a track or two or 20? 🙁
