  • Emailing mpeg-4 files. I need some help.

I have done it before. But now I have this compressed small progressive file I want to send that is well under 10MB and no email carrier is recognizing the file. Does anyone know how to hurdle this problem?
    Much appreciated,
    Thank you

Don’t use the MPEG-4 .mp4 wrapper. Instead, use .mov. Best way to do this is to do an export, and if you want to use MPEG-4 for the video and the audio, instead of selecting Export movie to MPEG-4, select Export movie to Quicktime Movie, and choose the MPEG-4 video codec from the settings list and the MPEG-4 audio codec. You’ll get the same quality as before, just without the .mp4 track overhead.

Another cool “file-sending” resource I stumbled upon:

    http://www.dropload.com

You can upload a file up to 100MB. It will then send an email to ONE person inviting them to dowload the file.

It stays online for one week only – and is FREE!

    Check it out.
