Emailing a video
Hello
I am a Freelance Photographer for a local Newspaper
In March I will be video taping a parade and want to email the video to the local Newspaper that i shoot for so they can put it on their web site.
Will be getting Adobe Premiere Elements 8 soon -

Why not post it on You-Tube or something similar, and have the website embed the video. E-mailing an entire video seems a bit absurd, due to the enormous file size it may turn out to be. At least snail-mail a DVD of the final product.

If you can keep your video data to less than 200mb, upload that to Rapidshare in a zip file and email the link to the newspaper so they can download it…Rapidshare is free.

What is the best way to send a video to a local Newspaper???
The Local Newspaper that I shoot for is Anton Newspaper.
I have the Pannasonic SDR-S26P/PC it is a SD video camera -
If the newspaper has a web-site, like you’ve said, then someone there has the responsibility of Web-Master. I’d get in contact with him/her and ask what format they prefer, and then we here can help you figure out how to achieve that.
