Elvis Deane’s disinteegrating persons-tutorial…doesn’t work :(
Hi,
I was trying to do Elvis’ tutorial (disintegrating persons),downloaded the package.zip file and wanted to do it like it is explained on the website.
But somehow it seems as if the “Get color/transarencsy from layer” would not work, the emitter is still shown on the entire of the video 🙁What can I do??

Make sure you understand the tutorial. It does work. Read it over again.

If it’s shown over the entire video, then it means either you have the emitter on the wrong layer and it isn’t taking into account the transparency information from the background image, or your background image doesn’t have an alpha channel.
If you’re using the footage in the zip, then it should work fine.
