Eliminating flicker or shimmer effect from analog capture
I have recently captured a VHS video clip using a Canopus ADVC-300. I am using Vegas 6 to edit, but the clip seems to shimmer or flicker. Any ideas how to reduce or eliminate this annoying effect?

Double-check the field order in the clip properties. Should be lower field first.
