Is anyone using the Elgato Turbo.264 HD for encoding? If so how are you dealing with doing gamma adjustments with this device? I really love how fast it encodes but without the ability to do gamma correction it’s becoming rather useless to me.

    Thanks,

    Mike

it’s great for speed, but thats about it. i only use it when i need something compressed yesterday, quality be damned. but if i have time i use Compressor to get a higher quality encode.

Matrox CompressHD is both fast and is much better than Apple’s H.264 codec. Works in Compressor as well as Telestream Episode. See review on this site.
