Elevation gradient
Anybody happen to know of a way to turn a grayscale height map to an elevation map with a specific elevation gradient?
Like this image
Directly in AE, that is. Planning on applying this to an animated grayscale height map to emulate an IR camera.

Sounds like Colorama.
This is what it can do with a greyscale version of your image:
It can assign gradient colors to pixels based on their intensity. I suppose, you’ll be able to set the gradient to get your desired colors.
