Elements in the program window not updating
After many hours of fighting, troubleshooting, and waiting for the program window to update I am now to the point of frustration regarding the slower than expected performance of my Premiere Pro.
I am working in a AVCHD 1080p 23.97 timeline with a mix of DSLR footage from a 60D at 1080p. However there is no DSLR footage at the point I am having the most problems with. My playback resolution is at 1/4 and for the life of me I cannot get the program window to update when I make a change to a graphic element. Also when I try to adjust parameters in the effects window i get a lag of 5 or 6 secondes between my click and the response.
At the point in question my sequence has 3 layers of .png gfx
I am cutting on a MBP 2.2 GHz i7 with 8 gigs of ram and a LaCie thunderbolt drive. No card just TB to drive looped out to DVI monitor.

Overall I am not truly as excited about the performance as I am with the feature set and I am still waiting for them to come into sync.
