    Hey Guys,

I wonder if someone an help me with Element 3D for after effects. I have a strange problem with the Inner Bevel- and im just wondering if anyone has a good tip to get around it.

The inner bevel outline on this star in the middle has gaps in it, as you can see in the above,

I’ve tried ‘fix holes’ etc – but no such luck.

It comes from an adobe Illustrator file that has super sharp edges and I’ve triple checked it all with pathfinder – and the design itself is simple so i can’t work out whats going wrong.

Anyone got any magic tips? The camera gets in pretty close so i want it to look sharp ☺

I would have to check out the AI file first.
It seems your overlapping the bevel, try smaller increments and see where it starts to fail.
Again I have no idea what the AI file looks like judging from your posted image.

    Hi Eric

Here is the AE file if that helps?

I feel like ive fiddled with every bevel setting going but if you can fix it you would be a life saver.

Did you copy and paste the vector to mask?
I have to take the file home to test, I dont have latest AE here at work.
