Help please…I am under a major deadline for a After Effects project I am trying to get out the door to client. I need a 3D egg that I can spin and rotate around the screen. I bought some obj models from stock place and I got them into AE but had zero control over them in my sequence. Then I made one that client liked in Cinema 4D Lite and brought it into AE and once again could not do much with it….had to be the size of sequence, could not rotate or spin around with keyframes….I was about to pull the trigger on the Element 3D plug-in and at the last minute read something that made me think that it also will have no ability to animate it within the AE sequence. I keep seeing all these YouTube video where people are doing all this super cool stuff in the AE beta app….I am lost. Will Element 3D allow me to make a egg from a sphere and move it around on screen?

Hi Arthur, I may be way, way off course but if an egg spins and is upright then it may look like it’s not moving at all. Just a thought.

yeah I gave it just the slightest bit of wobble to tell your eye that there was movement
