    hello,
i’m having trouble getting what i want. i have in element 3d a globe and a cilynder that spins around. the cylinder is glass-like. i want to remove the globe and keep only the cilynder, but i want the globe to act like a mask so the cilynder would dissapear when it gets behind the invisible globe. also, the cilynder should keep all the reflecting/refracting proprieties from the invisible globe.

    any ideas?

    kind regards,
    Constantin

you are overthinking things…create 2 element 3d layers and use the top sphere as a luma matte inverted..also change the sphere to white
