There are a couple of possibilities – one is that the model you have imported has its’ normals facing in the wrong direction – there is a switch in Element 3D to fix that. There is also a switch in Element 3D which I believe is on by default, called “cull backfaces”. If you turn that off, backfaces should show. I don’t believe it’s a bug – it’s a memory saving option.

Thank you Mr. Bourke for your answer,
I think it’s the cull problem, i have found similar posts on google.
Unfortunately, i didn’t find the switch for turning cull backfaces off! And nothing on google either.

I saw the old photo doesn’t work anymore, here is the photos:

    Thanks

OK – in Element 3D, when you’re in the interface, you will see the Scene information, objects, and their materials. Select one of the materials. In the standard interface, right below the Scene tab, you will see an Edit tab. Scroll down to the bottom, and under Advanced, you will find a Draw Backfaces switch, which, by default, is Off. Turn it on, and you will have all the polys in the scene drawn – you may experience a slowdown, depending on your machine (which is why they’re turned off by default). Good luck!
