    Hi,

I have an element 3d animation of a bottle applying a gel to a mouthpiece. The gel, mouthpiece and and mouth are all individual groups within the same element 3D layer. They need to be in order to have the 3D interaction for my needs.

The bottle is its own Element 3D layer.

As the bottle applies the gel, I need the gel layer (or group) to animate on. A simple radial wipe, or animated mask would do the trick, but because the gel is a group within the element layer, that would radial wipe all groups within the element 3D layer, and not just the gel group.

Any ideas how I can have only my Gel group wipe on?

    Thanks!!!

    Thanks,
    Ari

I’d render it with and without the gel and composite the two pieces of footage with an animated mask.
