Electricity and Lightning on a path
I’m trying to create a bunch of effects on specific shapes… like a line or a circle. I want to have something like electricity and fire flowing around the outline of a circle. I’ve tried some plugins before for things like electricity, but they only seem to go from one point to another and don’t really follow a path on the object.
Can anyone recommend a plugin that would achieve what I need?

You can use the alpha obstacle parameter of the advanced lightning effect to get the lightning to flow around the layers alpha channel. Check out the AE Help for more info.
