  Electrical Supply & Grid Installation in New 1200 SQ FT Studio

  Hello,

  We are currently converting an existing 1200 SQ FT space into a working studio and could use some advice:

  1. Lighting grid and power requirements in studio in kW/kVA? Is there a required weight load limit for a ceiling by law? Should there be a secondary power supply in the grid vs. down below? How should the power be distributed?

  2. What should be the amp service provided in this studio? Someone recommended 1200 amps and another recommended 800 amps. Someone said 2-3 amps per 1 sq ft? What should we create?

  3. Generator loads for 1200 SQ FT studio in kW/kVA?
