I’m trying to create a caterpillar in AE. The motion I’m trying to crack is parenting it’s dozen segments to each other, each individual segment is connected to the one adjacent to it, but I’d like to be able to move the MAIN segment… the HEAD let’s say, and have all of the following segments follow it in an “elastic” sort of way… NOT a rigid-straight-forward parenting way.

Think Rayman, the video game protagonist that had segments. His were disconnected … but either way, I’m sure there would just involve a tweak in the math to get disjunct or conjunct segments.

Thanks in advance for any input
