ejected disks remain in Finder windows
Mac Pro 3GHz, OS 10.3.8
When I eject a firewire disk, DVD or networked drive, it disappears from the desktop but not from finder windows. If I try to click on one of these ejected items in a finder window I get a message that says it can not be found. Relaunching the finder gets rid of these phantom icons, but isn’t really a good solution. Anyone else having this problem?

A Mac Pro cannot run 10.3.8 any Intel mac would have 10.4 on it, so I assume that you must mean 10.4.8. 10.4.9 is out now up date to that and see if the issue persists.
