efficient workflow with title montage
I am creating a sequence about a sport team. We see a clip of a player in action, making a goal, then their name comes up. The name of the player consists of multiple 2-6 frame files of their name with different graphic effects – different fonts – sometimes moving. I’ve got about 20 players and each player’s “name” segment has about 9 different name files.
That’s a lot of files. I can build the player name montage for one player, and I’d then like to create an identical montage sequence for each player – the only difference being the actual text of the name.
Can anyone offer suggestions on an efficient workflow?

Label your master title, copy/paste and change the name. Rename each individual title as the players name? Am I missing something?

If you have animated elements in your title treatment, consider using After Effects for that.
