Somehow I clicked on something that made my effects tab disappear up in my project window.
I am sure it is simple to get it back BUT I cant figure it out to save my life. I know you can get the effects thru another way but it was handy to have that tab there. Anyone know how to get it back????????????????

    Goto Window>Workspace>Reset workspace.
    click yes to reset.
Or use the Window> un/tick the name of the window/panel you want to bring up/or close. Effects/Controls.

Hey, I figured I wouldn’t create a new post for this. And this seems like a good topic to put this in.

I’m having trouble finding the Fast Blur effect in the video effects bin … I know where it should be, I just can’t find it. After reading the install instructions and extras I still can’t find where to get this effect.

Do I need to install something else to use this effect? Or is it separate to PP itself?

fast blur should be in the blur effect folder. If you type in the word fast to the contains section of the effects listing you should see it. If it’s not there you’ve got something wrong with your copy of PPro.

I’m pretty sure it’s not something wrong with my copy of Premiere Pro CS3 … As I just bought and installed it … that’s a little upsetting, I guess I’ll contact Adobe and see what I’ve done wrong.

Thanks for the fast response Jon!
