Effects were gone…..
Hi!
I’ve sony vegas pro 8 since two minutes… but when I open it there are no effecs.. I had this programm for a time ago, and I know that there should be much effecs like transitions or plug-ins… There is just a message: OPlease re-install the product to correct this problem.. but I don’t konow how…. I know I’m crazy and my englisch is really bad too, but there is no forum in german and so I have to ask you. I hope it is right.. 🙂

Just download the current version from Sony’s website and try reinstalling. If that doesn’t work, you might try uninstalling all Sony software, deleting the Sony folders, and (only if you know what you’re doing) remove the related entries from the registry. Once that’s clean, then do a reinstall. Plus you can always contact tech support.

edward is correct, simply re-install the program….
i presume you do have a legal copy – from what i’ve read, the cracked versions floating around DON’T load effects….
