Effects help needed
Hi
I’m trying in After Effects to have lots of tiny particles being blown from one corner of the comp to the centre (a bit like dust being blown by wind), and then have them arange themselves to complete an image. Does anyone have any idea of how i might accomlish this please?
Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Here’s a good oldie:
Text That Blows Away Like Sand by Emanuel Reiksson
Basically animate text into particles, moving them off the stage, then time reverse the clip or section with Time Remap or Time Stretch to -100.
Whatever method you use, Shatter, a particle system, or even Simulation >CC BAll Action (a great quickie to fragment things, Grid Spacing to 0, ball size 80+, then animate the scatter parameter) then if you need finer particle, Simulation>Scatterize is nice.
