    Hi there,

we just imported a PPro project in AE. Fine so far, but is there a way to have stuff like standard dissolves included within the AE project? We only had extra layers with the name and duration of the effect.

    Greetings
    Rafael

Sorry, no. AE is a compositor – each element gets its own individual layer/track.

A dissolve is two layers interacting; you can rebuild the transition (using opacity kf), but you can’t actually get it to transfer over.
