Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy effects bypass

    is there any way of bypassing effects instead of deactivating them or having to see the “unrendered” screen

    im hoping this feature exists, because i have a habit of color correcting intermittently. just to play with the vibe as i cut

    I don’t think so…but one thing you could do is once you’ve done your color correction, drag it to a bin in the browser window, this will save your effect there. Then you can just ‘Apple Z’ back to before you added the affect. This isn’t exactly what your looking for but maybe something close.

    Click on the RT menu on the timeline (upper left) and select PLAY BASE LAYER ONLY.
