  Effects and Flicker

  Hello, I am using a G5 imac, 2.93 GHz, memory 4 GB 1333 MHz with OS 10.6.6

  I am having problems with my video when I use any video effects. SOme of the footage is a little dark and I am fixing it by using either Shadow/Highlights or RGB Curves. Either way it doesn’t matter. They both cause flickering. Every time I use an adjustment on a clip I have to cross my fingers and hope it doesn’t flickers. I wish I could describe it better. Also like if a TV had a loose connection.

  The footage was captured from a Sony HDR-FX7 right into Premiere and I’m working in HDV 720p30.

  Any help would be appreciated!
