Effects and Filters are greyd-out in Illustrator
This is a simple but frustrating one. For some reason alot of my effects and filters are not available in the drop down lists. Not sure why, is it a color seting, or doc setup? Any help would be appreciated.

Most likely it is because your document is set to CMYK. If you set your color mode to RGB, they should all be available.
