Effects after Rendering
I used Media Generated effects and Rays effects on some text, and it looks great in the preview. But when I render in 1280x720p, its as if the content is much wider than the effects. Is there anyway to increase the resolution of the effects so they match the video?

Is your project 1280x720p? Is the Generated Media 1280x720p? Usually things like this happen when your project properties don’t match your render properties.

Make sure your Vegas project properties are first set
to 1280x720p before you do or import anything.Steve Rhoden

After much tinkering, I found that this problem resulted because of the effects’ resolution being set to 420 default, and the pixel aspect ratio needed to be changed to one from .90. Thanks for the Help!

Yea, it’s really important to keep the aspect ratio of your project and render in sync. Otherwise strange things will happen in the render. Glad you found it.
