Effects
Posted by Dan Davis on May 23, 2014 at 3:01 pmHi all,
I’m more and more being asked to work on PP, no worries there.
I come very much from an Avid Online background. Just wondering if I’m missing things.
Are there the equivalent to Avid tracking tools, Animatte and paint tools in PP?Any help would be great.
Thanks,

May 23, 2014 at 5:00 pmThe equivalent of those tools can be found in After Effects. Premiere by itself doesn’t contain them.

May 25, 2014 at 6:54 pmThat all sounds really good. Is there any chance of importing Mocha tracking date into the tracking tool?
Thanks again,

May 28, 2014 at 2:10 pmmocha v4 will export mocha roto masks directly to Premiere Pro with a copy/paste. Coming soon!
Currently, if you want to import tracking data from mocha into Premiere, currently Boris FX BCC will accept the track data. Otherwise, simply import the mocha track data into AE.
Best,
