effect motion movement or intensity with sound?
I would like to create a motion graphic that is affected by a sound file…Like the random display you see when playing a CD on your computer. This is not live however, the graphic and sound file are already created.

There are plugins for After Effects like SOUNDKEYS from TRAPCODE that may or may not work with Motion. I haven’t tried them yet but they do exactly that.

Is there a way to trigger movement from PCM audio? I need Sound Keys style functionality on an upcoming project. Is there an application that can take a frequency and turn it into some sort of on/off/% that I can plug into Motion’s midi capabilities?
