    Hi, I’m migrating to MC5 from FCP and have some questions about effects.

    I’ve used the paint effect to black out a region of a clip on V2. I would like to add a luma key to this clip but I notice that it doesn’t key out the black from the paint effect, just the original clip. How can make everything black key out?

    Alternatively, how can I use the Paint effect to reduce the opacity of the clip it is attached to?

    Hi Ian,

    don’t forget to press the “ALT” key when you want to use a second effect. Otherwise the first will be deleted (so your paint effect is gone)
